FRONTIERSMAN II

When Fate Brewing decided to add a mobile unit to their restaurant they asked Yoder Smokers to make their dreams come true. Owning several Yoder Smokers in their restaurant business, they knew they wanted something functional that would also represent the Fate brand well. The idea started with a large cooking capacity that would provide all of the cooking elements necessary to execute off-site events. Because they owned similar offset wood pits from Yoder Smokers, the decision was made to begin with a Frontiersman II including a square vertical.

A “stand alone” version of this pit was something that the owners already used in at Fate Brewing and had experienced great success. For the grilling element, the team choose a 24×36 Flattop charcoal grill for the grilling surface and ability to adjust the height of the heat source. To add versatility, a pair of 100,000 BTU commercial burners was added to the curb side. Storage was a big concern so a full sealed tongue storage box and 42” x 20” x 20” dry storage area was added to the trailer. This additional storage allowed the team to carry all of the essentials on board for large events. The trailer was painted to represent the Fate brand with a custom yellow trailer and silver painted logos. This is a true work of art in terms of fit, finish and functionality.
