The Tel-Tru BQ300R is Recalibratable and one of the most popular thermometers in the world of BBQ. You can trust the temperature on this thermometer to be accurate. It has a 3 inch dial/face and black pointer a temperature range 50-550 degrees Fahrenheit. This particular thermometer has a 2.5" stem, 1/2" NPT and will require a 7/8" inch hole for installation. It comes with a nut that will work just fine.But you can buy the installation kit in our store it is recommended for grills & smokers made of thin metals
